Simone' Alston Williams has been practicing law for over 20 years. Her pracitice is focused primarily on family law, but she has a broad range of experience, including, but not limited to: drafting wills and civil appeals. Mrs. Williams has handled appeals at the North Carolina Court of Appeals and North Carolina Supreme Court. She has served as an Assistant Attorney General (1994-1997); an Assistant County Attorney for Durham County (1997-1999); and a Police Attorney with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (1999-2003). Mrs. Williams has been in private practice since 2003. 

 

Mrs. Williams serves as a custody advocate/volunteer attorney with the Council For Children’s Rights and provides pro bono representation for victims of domestic violence through Safe Alliance. She has received the Safe Alliance Commitment to Justice Award in 2013, 2014, and 2015.  Mrs. Willliams has also taught Evidence, Family Law, and Professional Responsibility at the Charlotte School of Law as an Adjunct Professor. 

 

Mrs. Williams is married and the mother of 5 children. She loves working with her clients to analyze a problem, determine options, formulate a plan and then work to achieve it. She is committed to working to resolve matters in a manner that clears the path for healing for her clients and their families.
